restaurant with a beautiful setting. the fish is chosen fresh, and after cooking, the nets are raised in front of the customers! But it's better to have a well-stocked firewall to attract the sympathy of the waitress. attention: not for small budgets!!! View all feedback.
What SmashieTashie doesn't like about Le Marina:
We visited the Marina as it was close to our hotel. It was a beautiful location, and the staff were friendly. However our food was very average. We had the Big Tasty sharer option. Beautiful place directly on the beach, very advised to especially to have dinner. Some dishes are really good. Nice people.
We visited the Marina as it was close to our hotel. It was a beautiful location, and the staff were friendly. However our food was very average. We had the Big Tasty sharer option. Which described itself and a variety of skewers with chips dips. What arrived were a few small plain skewers, a stupidly big mountain of chips (to make up for the pitiful skewers) and dips of gravy, cheese and ketchup. On the table we were also given ketchup and mayo so double ketchup. The rest of the menu might have been alot better. But to spend €40 for two on something a weatherspoons could do better for £16 is pretty sad.
I went there with my daughter and we wanted some coffee: so we stopped at Le Marine café and we had some coffee both a small strong one. 't was excellent. After we went for visiting Porto Vecchio that is un-interesting!
We stayed at the adjacent Marina complex. We had delicious diners at different evenings in this restaurant. The setting is beautiful. The food was really delicious and the service friendly and helpful. If slightly more expensive is not an issue for you, than try the freshly caught fish cooked in the oven and prepared on the spot for you.
I went to Le Marina while waiting for the bus to Bastia. Location is convenient and you would expect that if a place has wifi then they also hand out passwords. Well... not here. I ordered a terrible cold shaked coffee which cost 5 euro. Then at 12 with the place half empty I have been told yet were starting to serve lunch and had to either leave or have lunch. I would rather recommend the bakery around the corner which is a way more pleasant place to be. At least nobody kicks you out.
