I was lucky to be invited and even luckier my hosts had arranged for Brodetto. This traditional dish from the Marche coast was a fish soup/stew made with the off cuts that fishermen could not sell. The quality of the fish at Campanelli is very high, so the result was quite superb. The tangy red sauce is an excellent offset to the variety of seafood in the pot. What Simone Medei doesn't like about Campanelli:
The room environment, cozy and very nice, does not reflect with the outside that remains anonymous. On the other hand, to say for the fish: excellent from the raw, passing to the hot/cold appetizers. Also excellent cutters on the cliff, but I have to go back to try the paccheri with the axe. Very good both fried, very light, and roasted. Sunday to lunch in two in this restaurant that from outside does not promise who knows. but the interior is well furnished, the covid standards respected to perfection and vige an excellent professionalism of the waiters. we order two hot and cold mixed appetizers (specifically 3 cold and 2 hot.) delicious. follow a first in the head or patrollers to the scampi and white rock guitars. that I tell you to do well and abundant. we are ociti super sazi spending 80€ including a good white wine and water.
