The hotel has a very good location. Right next to the ocean and natural swimming pools. Service was good. They welcomed us very kindly. We asked them to open a bottle of wine for us and they even offered us wine glasses for the room. Our room was clean and had an ocean view. She just looked a little old. There is a cozy common room with sofas and a terrace. Here you can enjoy one of the most beautiful ocean sunrises and sunsets. Rooms: The rooms are clean, as is the bathroom, but they look worn. Visited at lunchtime during inclement weather as tables in window looked well occupied but once inside this large establishment was empty. Had no atmosphere and was difficult to warm to the place. Decided against choosing anything too elaborate and played it safe. Results still distinctly average but prices ok.

How could you get simply food so wrong. Everything was frozen and terrible. Chips were even cold. Avoid this place at all cost. Best to get a simple snack if visiting Porto Moniz as there are many options around here
