We waited almost 25 minutes to have our food/drink order taken no apology... read more The restaurant is situated just back from the River Douro. Service was very poor slow. We waited almost 25 minutes to have our food/drink order taken no apology from the waiter for the length of time taken. Had it not been lunchtime other nearby restaurants were full we would have left as some people did. We were not the only people complaining about the lengthy wait. We were now nearing an hour before my plate of food arrived. The waiter suggested we share my food as my husband’s order was going to take another 15 minutes. My food was just okay, my husband’s was disappointing and definitely not worth the extra wait.
