We went here on a whim and luckily got a table. The atmosphere was amazing, and the service was very good. We took awhile to decide what we wanted and our server was very patient with us. He also spoke English and was able to understand what we were ordering. The food was delicious! I got the grilled shrimp and my table shared the olives and the spicy balls, which were all very good. Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks. Very fair prices as well. My favorite dinner on my trip! Price per person: €20–25 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We were recommended by our host Sébastien to visit Trasca and we were so glad we did! The restaurant seats about 16 people and is very quaint with exposed stone walls. There is a flight of stairs down to reach the dining area. The food was delicious and prepared in an open kitchen which made us feel like guests dining in their home. We loved the cheese basket and pumpkin jamthey were divine with Serra d’Estrella cheese. Would definitely recommend this establishment. Price per person: €20–25 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Exactly what we hoped to find in Porto. After a couple of days enjoying quick snack food (things at the food market and salt cod etc in cafes), we were looking for a cosy seated restaurant. As soon as we entered, we knew this was perfect. Lovely old granite walls and wood beams. The two person team were fantastic and served up dishes speedily. It was all perfect. The penquino steaks were so tender , burgers great. Our first franchisina (sorry for spellings), was surprisingly good. Our kids are fussy and we ate the whole lot. This hidden gem was a meal highlight of the holiday. Very recommended. Do book ahead though. Price per person: €20–25 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
