Sergio never disappoints with his gr... read more Our favorite restaurant in Portugal. We discovered it in 2019 and put it on the top of our list for our next trip to Porto. Sergio never disappoints with his gracious service, delicious food at great value. The coffee and wine are great also. His daughter made a delicious passion fruit cheesecake to top off our meal. We took two metros to get there from the other side of town, it’s just that good. Don’t miss it. Obrigada, sergio. Hope to see you next trip.

The crew , the husband as weather and his wife in the kitchen cook you elaborate meal, i mean far more better and from such affortable price than those you will found on the touristes trap restaurants y ou fall on in the centrum. As a french speaker i can tell you the boss there practice a good English and he is ready to share....three advices: come in the evening and don 't miss the special withe Porto of the chief!! And speak a little bit with him because he his such a lovely and kind people... In one word...Portuguese ;

He was attentive from the first moment, happy to help us understand the menu and accommodating our requests. The veal, salad , and punched potatoes (all cooked by his wife) were delicious and the price was very inexpensive. He proudly toured us to the patio seating behind the restaurant where he grows fresh herbs for the dishes and where he picked a delicious passion fruit for the end of our meal. We were the only non-Portuguese in the restaurant and the other patrons were very friendly as well. What a special way to end our time in Porto! Thank you, Sergio!

We've been there only 2 times in a week, and the card changed, which was really nice. They give you the opportunity to taste different meals each day. The price is really affordable, it's well located in a safe neightbourhood (50mt from combatentes metro station). We truly recommend this place. Even the franceshina looked far more better that what you can find anywhere else. Plus: they speak in english if needed
