The Grove Restaurant And Bar

I am not usually a fan of restaurants located at golf clubs, but this one was a pleasant surprise. I met my family there for Sunday lunch and found a varied menu with something for everyone, including options for vegetarians and vegans. The turkey ham, roast beef, and cod with chips were all delicious choices. The only downside was that the roast potatoes were undercooked and the broccoli was overcooked. However, the positives far outweighed the negatives. The cod with chips was beautifully presented and came with lovely mushy peas, tartar sauce, and a fresh side salad. The staff were great and very accommodating, making sure that nothing was too much trouble. The highlight was the dessert cart, with plenty of choices to choose from or to mix and match. The chocolate roulade was particularly amazing and I would return for it alone. This restaurant is definitely an asset.

Amazing food, amazing staff and amazing across the board. I have been here on many occasions and I've always found it lovely. Great portions aswell. Highly recommend

During my visit to the restaurant, there was a scarecrow festival happening which led to a simplified menu. Despite the large number of customers, the staff was exceptional as always. The coffee was delicious, but the pastries were so tempting that I couldn't resist breaking my diet. Unfortunately, the pastry I chose was undercooked. However, the pear filling was delicious. The garden area is my favorite part of the restaurant. Once again, the waitresses provided top-notch service.

Fab place to eat beautiful view out windows staff so friendly and helpful owner goes out of way to make sure you enjoy meal as for food just beautiful portions are excellent really value for money definitely worth a visit

Just had to chime in as I don't see a lot of reviews for this place.We had an impromptu family gathering at the golf club, and the food was great as was the service. Bar staff and wait staff were very attentive.
