After our walk in Emo we were hungry. I ordered Porridge and it was delicious. The crepe is also really good. The location and atmosphere were beautiful. They also do afternoon tea (can be booked). The staff is helpful and accommodating, but there is something about the cafe order area that does not work. I'm not sure if it's a feeling to wait as they just seem to treat with an order at a time. What User doesn't like about Catoca Fine Food Giftware:
Beautiful setting , amazing gardens , lovely gift shop , but ruined by a very rude manager in the cafe , I've never heard any manager owner boss speak to staff the way this lady did infront of customers , regardless of it being infront of customers it was shocking the way she spoke to her staff . I will never set foot in this place again . View all feedback.
I thoroughly enjoyed my cake and coffee at this restaurant. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the outdoor seating area was lovely. The only downside is that it is not accessible for those with baby strollers or disabilities, as the supposed lift was not working.
My son took me out for coffee (cappuccinos) at this restaurant recently, and it was a terrible experience. We couldn't tell if the milk was sour or if they used soy milk, but either way, we couldn't drink it. Since they were takeaway coffees, we didn't have the opportunity to ask for a refund. The staff was unfriendly, which was disappointing considering the beautiful location Catoca has to offer. The prices were too high, and we definitely won't be returning.
I ordered a panini at this restaurant for €9.50 and it was extremely disappointing, to say the least. When I mentioned it to the waitress, she simply laughed and casually suggested that maybe the sandwich needed a few more chips. This was a complete rip-off. I would not recommend eating here at all.
I enjoyed the delicious cake and good coffee at this restaurant. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the outdoor area was nice. The only downside was that it was not accessible with a baby stroller, and it seemed like there was supposed to be a lift but it wasn't working. It made me wonder how disabled people would manage.
Came here as a group with my local flower club, there was about 80 of us. The place is beautiful lots on the menu. The head chef and owners of the cafe came out to greet us and gave a few trays of biscuits on the house which was very kind and generous, lovely people lovely atmosphere. A few people in the group had dietary restrictions and they were able to make up big extra sandwiches with gluten free bread and vegan ingredients. Would love to came back again in the near future:
