Zien Hong - Portland

Probably the best Chinese food I have had in Portland in my 15 years on the West Coast. I will definitely be going back

Other than the parking situation which I find parking behind the building in the neighborhood the easiest. I always enjoy getting my food from here, decently priced and of course enough portions to have leftovers. Having tried a couple of their specials as well, it's always good to see what's new on the menu.

Four of us had a late lunch it was all delicious, the service was great and the staff were friendly. Thank you! You will see us again.

We've ordered to-go from Zien Hong about 10 times in the past two years. The wait tends to be about 10 minutes longer than the restaurant quotes. However, the food comes out hot each time! We dislike that rice is not included with entrees and dishes are $2-3 more since the pandemic. No other restaurant in town beats their salt and pepper squid, salt and pepper shrimp, and beef green beans which is why we keep coming back!

What a wonderful find! This is our go-to place for Chinese food. Everything is high quality, and freshly made. Try the green beans, the eggplant, the honey walnut shrimp, moo shu pork--you can't go wrong. Friendly people as well!
