What EatingOut doesn't like about The Melting Pot:
We were disappointed to be seated in a dead-end corner next to the kitchen listening to “corner!!” shouted constantly. It was steamy, hot and dark with poor ventilation. Wait staff remembered us hidden over there and would ask “still good?” The fruit on our cocktails and dessert was weirdly dry and old. Double date for an early Valentine's Day. schicksal was our server and was fantastic. attentive, informative, pleasant. answered every question. occupied with two couples who wanted different choices, although we share a single burner. excellent home recommendations. delicious food. recommend the salmon and the chicken! both couples ordered the larger plate for two and left filling.
Came for our two-year jubilee here and that was my first time in the melting pot! we decide for the big dinner for two! had the classic alpine fondue, the big night tempted and the garnels for black and the original fondue made with dark chocolate. all very delicious food and the staff was very friendly and wonderful! we have made our reservation online and my friend has added the jubiläumsfoto to our dinner so that they made our photo and we have a few kopien from it! we also have a cute happy jubilee card and a box dark chocolate to take home!
My friend and I went here for our four-year anniversary and had a wonderful experience! we chose the lover Lane speciality that was wonderful for everything it has to do. they get two keepsake champagne glasses along with champagne their choice of sweet of dry, a card they make to table, their photo, their choice of milk, dark or white chocolate, private sitting and a four cure meal! our krysstal waitress made our jubilee so special!
Had a very nice elegant evening and romantic evening in portland melting pot and I must say it was impressive and eating was delicious. our server darius was fantastic and we were treated in best way by all the staff of the hosts to the barkeeper mike while we waited to be sitting to the manager who checked for us. we have to sit in the love lane that felt so private and allowed us to focus more on the experience. I highly recommend this experience and I will come back with friends when the experience is worth enjoying others.
It's an experience for dinner. They make sure you feel celebrated and cared for, they write personal cards, take your photo, and take special requests. We came for our anniversary and had a great romantic time together
