Description

Tabor Bread has garnered mixed reviews, reflected in the disparity between price and quality. While many customers appreciate the unique craftsmanship behind their high-quality breads and pastries, rising prices and shrinking portions have led to dissatisfaction. Items like $5 croissants and $13 sandwiches leave some diners feeling shortchanged, especially when service can be slow. However, others find value in the delicious flavors and distinct offerings, embracing the elevated experience despite the costs. With a friendly staff and inviting atmosphere, Tabor Bread remains a tempting destination for those willing to indulge, even if it comes at a higher price point.

The brot is much too expensive and the service is incredibly slow. it took 15 minutes to make my drink because she talked to her employees and snooped around and my drink came out warm. for what I spent, I expect more.

My life quality has improved due to this beautiful place and it is exquisite, healthy eating and perfect brot.

Previously a coughling was busy ingenious place to visit, order a suppe and half sandwich. bake and bags of buckwheat/choc cookies/ biscuits/muffins loaves from brot. it is now much overpriced and not so good quality. what happened?

I went for a challah while visiting Portland. The whole wheat etc blend of flours is absolutely delicious, and the counter person wished me Shabbat Shalom! That meant a lot.

Is the $5.5 croissant expensive? Absolutely! But is it worth it? On my first visit to Tabor Bread, it was definitely worth it. I've tried so many croissants from different places, but this one is truly special. With just one bite, I could taste the magic of the sourdough, and I couldn't wait to share my discovery with a fellow croissant lover. It's different from a traditional croissant in some ways, but I still love it. While the prices may be higher than other places, I'm okay with it if the quality is exceptional. It ultimately comes down to how much you value that special experience. Not everyone may see the higher price as justified, but I appreciate having the option to enjoy something unique.
