What Roscoe Lemke doesn't like about Raven & Rose:
First visit to this restaurant. Love the location, atmosphere. Friendly and attentive service. Food was ok; pretty standard beet salad; Pork Shank was gristly and bland. Overpriced for the quality. View all feedback. What Megan M likes about Raven & Rose:
As a first time visitor to Portland, I was thoroughly impressed with this local favorite! The ambiance and service was superb. In town for a brief work trip, one of my coworkers advised that we dine here and so glad we did. Everythin single thing we ate was AMAZING! Delicious! we had scallops and venison and both were fantastic. the venison was incredibly delicate! not easy to do. wonderful service.
Wonderful food, service and location. weinliste was hard on premium oregon wines, I would suggest expanding the range to moderate local weine.
Was a great place to dinner in front of the theater. eating was excellent, and our server was excellent. the staff really cares about their experience.
Tomatenbisque was fantastic. server very attentive to ensure that we were done in the time to make the submission we visited after dinner.
Raven and Rose could be a home away from home. They are friendly and take the English fare and sharpen it up so it is delicious!

read moreThe restaurant has a nice garden in the back and an accommodating hostess. However, some reviews mentioned slow service and overpriced items on the menu. The food quality was mixed, with some dishes being delicious while others were bland. Despite these issues, other diners praised the ambiance, service, and exceptional food. Overall, the restaurant seems to have a lovely atmosphere and good food, but some improvements may be needed in terms of consistency and pricing.
