I've been getting takeout from this place for a few years now. The naan is amazing, and they give you a ton of it. Everything is good. My kids are addicted to the mutter paneer. The tandoori chicken is incredible. Literally everything on the menu is good. And the owner is always so helpful and kind. View all feedback.
What Julia Weiß doesn't like about New Taste Of India:
I've been coming here for a long time, the quality is consistently fantastic and so flavorful. My favorite is the Dahl tarka and chana goa, definitely my favorite comfort meal when i want to treat myself. Staff are always friendly too. View all feedback.
Not bad, not anything to write home about. The spice level was pretty low even when I asked for extra spicy. The prices are mostly reasonable for the quantity. The curries are a little too sweet for my taste, I prefer more savory flavors.Food: 3/5
There is plenty of parking available. You can only dine in during lunch hours unfortunately. The staff is very nice and helpful. The food is average. They have a good selection between vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.Parking: Parking is free and there is never an issue finding an available spot.
Really more like a 2.5 deeply mediocre. Not outright bad, but also not anywhere near the realm of good. The staff was friendly! But that doesn’t make up for expensive, ho hum food.Ordered the malai kofta (one of my favorite dishes) and it was super bland. Ordered medium and couldn’t taste a hint of spice. Same thing for my friend’s lamb vindaloo not at all spicy and kind of grainy. Garlic naan was more like a greasy tortilla than a flat bread. Won’t be coming back.
I've been a fan of this place for a few years now. Never disappointed, as their dishes are so consistently good. The Goa curry is the bomb, but really there isn't anything that you could go wrong ordering. I'm not very close to the restaurant, but it is definitely worth the drive. Having been deprived for a while due to the pandemic, I am ecstatic that they have been open for a while now.
One of my favorite restaurants in the neighborhood. My favorite dishes are the saag paneer, chana masala, and aloo gobi. The vegetable pakora is also amazing. I have celiac and really appreciate their thorough labeling of dishes as GF or non GF as well as their wide selection of vegetarian dishes. I've only gotten takeout and the food is always ready in a timely manner.
