Found this small restaurant when I was driving around the Bethany area. I must say that I've never been to a fusion restaurant before but this one was amazing! The burrito I got was great, the meat was juicy and flavorful, and the service from their server Evan was great. View all feedback.
What Alex S doesn't like about Koi Fusion Bethany Village:
If I could give one-tenth of a star, I would. Dear Lord, save yourself and don't eat here. Bad, bad, bad food. Like, rotten food that will make you sick. I ordered take-out. Got it home and noticed the beef smelled funny. Took a taste and it tasted even worse. Took it back and the kid didn't kmow hiw to refund my payment. It finally happened. I rarely feview, good or bad, but this was extraordinarily bad. View all feedback.
I really liked this place, but it's really gone down hill recently. There's a young guy that works there that's pretty nice, but it seems like the shop is randomly closed when it says they're open and there is no sign or updates online, so I've often made the trip on my lunch break only to find it closed. Like another review mentions, the food I got last time was good, but the store was hammered! Just really dirty looking-bits of food all over the ground and the counter was gross. I get that it's hard for businesses these days, but I'd rather see modified consistent hours or a sign on the door or an Instagram post if they're going to be closed randomly. Another bit of feedback would be the way the the payment system is set up to tip- most places will let you enter a custom amount- but recently this has shifted to preset amounts. I would be here weekly now that I'm working in the area- but it hasn't been worth the stop only to find out it's closed- and the condition of the shop last time. Would love to see this place stick around
There was a piece of gravel in my burrito, almost chipped my tooth then the man running the store today tried to tell me it was a spice. Last I checked typically rocks aren’t used as spices. On another note they are out of stock of a lot on a daily basis, they don’t even have fries. Some pretty good food if they have it and it doesn’t contain rocks.
Food was an interesting mix of flavors and quite tasty! The service was quick and convenient. My only complaint is the prices, which seemed pretty high at this location.
I've eaten here before last year with no issues and love the food, but yesterday I walked in and the place was dirty. Like... *noticeably* dirty. I'm not sure if it's because maybe they have staffing issues like other restaurants nowadays, but it looked like no one had dusted, mopped, or swept in a while. There were bits of greens and bean sprouts on the floor. The counter was dusty and had splatters of sauce on it. The napkin holder was nearly empty and looked like it needed a good scrubbing. And when I paid for my order via square and the employee turned the monitor around... not only was the computer stand dusty like it hadn't been cleaned in over a week... there were sauce smears all over the touchscreen!! I almost said something right then but I wasn't in a very speaking mood so I just signed with my finger on it with whatever was splattered on there. The food came out great, but honestly considering how things looked *at the front end*, it makes me question how clean the kitchen itself was! So I'm probably fortunate if I don't get food poisoning. Koi Fusion, your food tastes great but please get your act together so I don't feel scared to eat there again. :
