This restaurant is located in a converted house. The place is super sweet. And the food was amazing. They are currently only making out and delivering. That was good with me when I went home from work. The food was ready and waited when I arrived, so it was a quick transaction. Everything was well packed and still warm when I came home. The food was exquisite. We ordered mild, but I could try medium on the Chicken Ti... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about India Grill:
Food is good, but customer service is rude. He told us to wait in stairs because the food wasn't ready. No place to park or dive. Rude behavior, does not even allow a glass of water without additional payment. Unlike an Indian behavior View all feedback.
I have never seen Butter Chicken this color before in America, the UK, or Ireland. The chicken is a pink/reddish hue and resembles crab meat in texture, but doesn't taste like chicken. The service was fast and the guy was friendly, but I couldn't finish the meal due to the taste and color. I would have preferred frozen Indian food from the grocery store.
This restaurant is amazing! We ordered vegetable samosas, papadam, naan and raita, chicken vindaloo and chicken korma and everything was fantastic! The sauces were also very tasty. We will definitely be returning! Rating: 5/5
I've been trying various Indian restaurants in Portland to find my favorite and India Grill wins!!! I'm a vegetarian so I really enjoy their lunch buffet with various options for veggie friendly. They have the best spicy green chutney I've found in town, if you like it hot that is! Their green salad is actually green, no iceburg here anymore! And love their vegetarian main dishes, so much flavor. I keep coming back regularly and their quality is very conistent, love it!
Definitely one of the best Indian spots in Portland, and I've heard many Indian people echo this statement. Chicken Tikka masala is possibly the best I've had. Navvatran curry is also a favorite. I miss their lunch buffet and dine in service but since COVID it is to go only. Hope this changes....Food: 5/5
It's edible... Weak in flavor the butter chicken looks to be like cheese chicken or something... The soup was ok, still, weak in flavor... The naan was ok it made everything else bearable... I also put that I needed utensils, they didn't provide utensils...I'll put a bit more spices in the butter chicken and put a bit more tomatoes in or something, when I get home in the morn. I'm just going to eat the soup tonight...
