Hardknocks Sports Grill - Portland

The Outsiders Bike Family met up here for one of our bike nights. There were 18 of us, and we could have used a little more help putting some tables together to seat our group. Poor customer service at the bar, but our waitress was the bomb digity, and the food was excellent!

This place is very fun! Nice choices of food and done well. Love the specialty drink menu. It was karaoke night. Lots of families were there and some good singers. Definitely a very fun night out!

This place was PHENOMENAL! It was just my husband and I after we thought we'd have a party of ten. The others weren't ready to eat so we moved to the bar. The hostess was so understanding about us not needing the tables she had just put together.Heather and Tabitha knew the dinner menu and raved about the kitchen staff. They couldn't have been more spot on!We ordered the shrimp diablo and it was spectacular! The shrimp was not overcooked and the bacon was crispy but the sauce!!!!!We decided to share two entrees. We had salmon and ribeye. They made the salmon exactly medium rare and the ribeye the most beautiful rare we have ever seen. The seasoning and cook was comparable to Kirby's or Vic and Anthony's. The grilled shrimp, scallops, sauteed spinach and grilled asparagus were cooked to perfection.We are here for vacation and will be here for the remainder of our meals!

We were a bit nervous to go here because of some of the reviews but we were pleasantly surprised. The food was fantastic, and the service was good. After our server noticed that I seemed to have a dietary restriction she asked the manager/cook to come over and make sure that I was able to get the food I wanted. Definitely made the experience more relaxing and enjoyable.

Should have looked at the reviews prior to coming here! Waitresses were horrible. Condiments for burgers came on the side ? drinks were not garnished. They tried charging for 3 drinks we never had. Plates came one by one. Part of the table was done eating and the others were still waiting on food. Gratuity was added at an amount of 53%. Cheese on the burgers wernt even melted. Paid $18 for a 10 piece wing that didn't come with fries. And to top it all off we ended leaving no tip due the fact that the waitress wanted to talk smack about me fixing our ticket to another table.Stephanie was our waitress and should be fired! Very unprofessional
