El Guero Mexican Food - Portland

I recently tried the fajita burrito at this restaurant and it was absolutely delicious. I really enjoyed the fact that they roasted the flour tortilla before filling it with fajita ingredients.

I was very eager to try the torta ahogada. As someone from Guadalajara, Jalisco, I know what an authentic torta ahogada should taste like. I was disappointed to find that the restaurant's version was not even close - the salsa and hot sauce were not right, and the bread and filling lacked the traditional flavors. However, the service was excellent and the location was nice.

Delicious and consistent burritos, always served with care and a smile. El Guero burrito is my most favorite.

Best Breakfast Burrito and tacos in the Rose City neighborhood, I come here often, would highly recommend. Staff are really kind and they work hard to fulfill the orders.

Lady was rude and I made it very clear I was allergic to rice and they still out rice in my burrito...
