Latin-Indian fusion makes for some really funky and delicious combos. The base ingredients have some commonalities, but the flavors they produce together are a real treat. Plenty of options, quick service, and friendly faces each time. If you want something different, Poco is definitely worth a shot. View all feedback.
What Yesenia Stehr doesn't like about Best Taste Of India:
terrible customer service. I ordered shrimp curry and told the lady that I was allergic to rice and asked if I had mixed vegetables under instead of rice. She calculated me $4 extra for vegetables instead of rice. I get Veggies are more expensive. When I got my food, there were curry shrimps and carrots... I paid $4 EXTRA for a hand full of carrots to be added! when I went back to ask why I don't get mixed vegetables... View all feedback.
This is my favorite food car in Portland. Healthy, delicious, fresh, local and delicious!!! The couple who own the car is so sweet. I love coming here. Very recommended to try, then fall in love!
For years here! It's so good. People work so friendly. It's mainly why I'm going to Cartlandia.
This is the best North Indian food place in the larger Portland and I tried many. Your name is not a lie!! I worked for two years for an Indian food company on the east coast, so I was thrilled to find this place. I suggest getting several dishes and sharing them family style!! The Malai Kofta is my favorite here... but everything else I had is also excellent.
I've been coming to the best Indian food in town for months. I have an appetite for it at least twice a week. Very friendly people. Although they do not keep open today tell me 30 min 30 min. Once they've finally opened after waiting for 3 hours. It's so good for three hours. When they stayed closed, I was so sad, then she did it right by cooking my order and giving me free, I think this was a free bad day or something, but they fixed it all for me. Thank you. I love this place
Absolutely phenomenal. Great spices, fantastic balance. We got plain naan and lamb josh, which go great together and are super flavorful without being too rich, aloo tikki which was hot and savory and thank god not too salty, gulab jamun that wasn?t drown in syrup, and peshawari naan that disappeared before we even made it home it was so good. Cannot rave enough. The Chai was also not too sweet, like most coffee shops do, and really packed a punch. I know I?ve said it a lot but I?m going to say it again: phenomenal flavor, well worth the trip.
