Detroit style pizza is known for... read more We visited as a group of 9 for a birthday celebration, as the guest of honor wanted to try Detroit style pizza at this brewery. Detroit style pizza is known for its rectangular shape, thick crust, Wisconsin brick cheese, and sauce on top. We tried 5 different pizzas including meat lovers, popeye, hawaiian, supreme, and veggie gourmet, along with appetizers like breadsticks, artichoke spinach roll, and artichoke dip. The pizza toppings were a bit sparse, but the appetizers were tasty and went well with our beer choices. Unfortunately, the service was slow and seemed a bit overwhelmed, possibly due to the recent Portland pizza week. Overall, there is room for improvement in both the food and service quality. The highlight was the Dublin Stout offering, with rich chocolate notes that we enjoyed. Some in our group said they wouldn't return, but I would give it another chance for the beer. As always, it's best to try it yourself and decide. Enjoy!

Great beer as well. For non Michigan peeps, don't sleep on Detroit style pizza. It's great!!
