The food is amazing. The family that owns and operates Asmara is very kind, and the service is top-notch. It may take some time to be served due to the careful preparation that goes into each dish, but it's definitely worth the wait. Just make sure you don’t arrive hungry and take it out on them!

The best food I?ve had in Portland!! I ordered the vegetarian sampler for my mom, sister, and I, and I?m surprised there?s leftovers because it was that good! The injera was so light and tangy, and all the veggie mains were so flavorful and cooked toperfection. I highly recommended this spot to everyone!!
