Having been to Alvor on many occasions over the years we have come to expect high standards. When visiting this bar last week I went to the bathroom. I nearly got sick with the stench. In my view it was one of the worst I have come across on my travels. They serve lovely simple well prepared and well presented food such as sandwiches, toastie, burgers, salads etc. Food and drink are very reasonably priced and good friendly service. It's also a great place to sit outside with a glad of good wine and watch the world go by
Reasonable priced snacks and sandwiches in Alvor village. The downside is that you sit among smokers.

Straightforward cafe bar in village square . Hard working staff cheerfully serve up drinks fair prices, good quality wines and beers. Great atmosphere nice place to go early evening pre dinner.
