I ordered the shrimp soup through DoorDash today, and it had a very strong fishy smell with an overpowering fish flavor. It tasted more like sweet corn chowder with a hint of shrimp. Now, my stomach is really not happy. Everything else I ordered was fine, but I definitely wouldn't recommend the shrimp soup. At that price, it feels a bit excessive.

The food and service here are outstanding. It's my go-to lunch spot every week. There aren't many dining options in Porterville beyond Mexican cuisine, but this place consistently offers a clean environment and dishes made with fresh ingredients each day.
