Went here on a suggestion and man was it excellent.Definitely make reservations, it gets busy quick.Delicious firecracker shrimp, and we both had Teriyaki Fried Rice, I with pork belly and her with chicken and it was probably the best fried rice I've ever had. View all feedback.
What Pep Snap doesn't like about Yosake Downtown Sushi Lounge:
I don't get the place. Prices higher than in NYC, portions smaller. For 4 sushi nigiri I paid 20$, and got the smallest pieces of fish you can expect. Cucumber roll had peas in it...Taste is fine, but considering this city is on the water can be better View all feedback.
My favorite sushi place in town. Always great food service. Cool aesthetic on the 3rd floor and balconies that overlook front st
Sushi was okay but honestly all of their food was pretty bad. Very salty soup. Undercooked rice noodles. Clearly cook chicken ahead of time and then just throw it on the sauce to stir fry for dishes. Disappointing.
The food was really good, I always come here when I’m craving the firecracker shrimp. I come year long, and this time was different. The dining room was stuffy and hot, and you could smell the sweat coming off everyone in there. I even heard an employee exit briskly- stating, “I’m going to pass out”. I have never felt the price is unfair, until feeling the temperature can not be properly controlled.
We had the most incredible time celebrating several birthdays and a friend moving away. Dani was an excellent server, with expert advice on dishes, ambiance, and kindness, which made our experience exceptional. We will be back! Wheelchair accessibility: They have an elevator available!
The sushi was great but the ramen and desserts were very disappointing. Presentation wise, everything was beautiful but texture and flavor was a huge downfall this evening.
