We had high hopes for this place when we decided to drive to Wilmington to try it. I was excited for all those beautiful cakes posted on the Facebook page. Well, there were no cakes at all and sadly the rest was really nothing special. The schnitzel preparation was not good. The potato pancakes were soggy. The ruebens were ok. Parking: Convenient parking lot steps away from The German Cafe which allows for up to 3 hours validated by owner!
The potato pancake was super thin. It felt like a tortilla. It was extremely small and super thin. I was disappointed.
Food and service excellent. Parking: They validate your parking which covers for three hours.

All I can say is wow!! Best Reuben I’ve ever had, they make their dressing in house and it’s AMAZING! Highly recommend! And the waitresses were all so attentive they all dress in traditional dirndls as well, so cute!
