Absolutely good food and service! the young man waiting for us was great! the girl waiting for the men behind us has done an amazing work, but the women behind us did not tip her, she correspondingly made me angry! she was great!

Todays visit was unfathomable. We received very poor service, waited and waited just for our waiter to take our order. When he finally brought our food, I asked for another beverage right then, again waited; it finally came about the time we were done eating. So I asked for our check right then. Same thing, I finally asked for the check again as he was walking by us. (By this time we had finished eating some time ago I just left a 10% tip, which is a first for me. I also wrote in the check, very poor service. We left, were ready to pull onto Shaver Rd when when we saw our waiter running towards our car yelling something. My husband rolled down the window and he threw our check at me and said, here, you take this!. I said no , give it to the manager. He said f you, and turned to leave. My husband now got out of the car to confront him (bad move), but he was upset by this time. He told the waiter that it was true, we did get bad service. The waiter said he works hard, and his dad owned the place. We are senior citizens, and this was a terrible experience to say the least.

The service was really quick; our waitress really didn't seem super happy that evening, But she was quick. Food came out as ordered. Our burgers were really good. Fries were also really good. I will definitely be coming back to try another one.

If I could give -500 stars I would this place has HORRIBLE service waited to be seated for at least 5 mins with no hostess in sight finally get seated at a dirty table then waited another 15 mins then when we decide to just leave the server comes over and asks us if we want to order we told him know we had to go and instead of Just letting the drinks we barely drank slide he brought us the bill for them $8 for 2 pops and a chocolate milk for my son! I don't recommend going here they were NOWHERE NEAR busy enough to have such horrible service so if that's how it is on a slow Saturday night I can't imagine how horrible it would be when they are busy.

If you're looking for a rural feel in Portage this is your place, reminded me of a UP tavern and grill. Staff was awesome, very cheerful and quick. Prices are good and a great selection of beers, sadly the food was just average. That being said we enjoyed ourselves and had a great time.
