Service was good. Being our first time there we didn't know that you don't wait to be seated. You just sit down and wait to be served. So we went up to the counter, looked at the cakes in the display case and ordered two cakes and two coffees. The girl began putting them in boxes to go and I asked if we could have that to dine in. Looking for a morning coffee and muffin on a drive from Winnipeg to Brandon, we stopped in at the cafe based on good TA reviews. Two small rooms warmly decorated, nicely separated tables, friendly service. Ordered coffee and the daily fresh muffin (triple berry). The coffee was middle of the road. AMAZING! The food and service were outstanding. Mark and the staff served delicious food once again.
I really love this restaurant! The only difference between this place and a trendy hipster spot in the city is that there is more space between the tables and the waitress is very friendly.
This coffee shop in Portage la Prairie serves up delightful sandwiches and baked goods, all made fresh daily. It's definitely worth stopping by for a visit.

The sandwich was so amazing, I HAD to order a second one. The staff were very friendly and the place was very trendy.
