I had a fantastic evening at Lamotta's last night with friends to see my friend's rock band! The food was excellent—we enjoyed Nonna's meatballs, salads, and burgers. I was pleasantly surprised by the great acoustics for an outdoor concert! View all feedback.
Great place to enjoy good entertainment and service amazing views of the beautiful boats parked at the docks and great sunsets
This place was delicious. The New England clam chowder was so good and I?m not a big fan of fish but the fish and chips were delightful. I would definitely have it if I go back there. The time to sit down was pretty long but the bar was open right away and the service was quick there.
We came out to see our friends band Good Grief at La Motta 's restaurant. We sat out on the deck over looking the water and watched the sun go down. The food was really, really Good! I had the lobster corn dogs, which melt in your mouth.. Very nice place tucked away in Port Washington but worth the trip. The staff here are very nice too!
We had a great experience with the hostess. She was very nice in accommodating us, we came during happy hour and hung out in the bar area while we waited for our table. She let us know that it was pretty busy and we would have to wait a little while. We didn?t mind the wait and it didn?t end up being as long as she thought it would be which was great! The drinks were good and strong! Definitely worth the price. The food was good overall, one thing I was surprised by was the fact that they didn?t serve whole fish, only fillets, since it is a seafood restaurant, but no biggie. There?s a nice outdoor area with tables and a view of the marina, a nice place for a summer lunch, dinner or happy hour drinks! The indoor bar is very large as well and has a lot of TVs, seems like a nice area for sports events also.
To my disappointment, they didn’t offer strawberry daiquiris, so I opted for water instead. I found their menu choices lacking; I had hoped for items like a whole spicy lobster with broccoli and a baked potato, shrimp scampi, a lobster omelet, deluxe shrimp omelette, a turkey burger with a crab cake on the side, and salmon with stir-fried veggies featuring shrimp, crab, or scallops. None of these were available. It would be great if they could expand the menu to include a wider variety of healthier options. I wanted to make a healthier choice by ordering a normal pound and half of lobster with veggies, but the bartender informed me that they only had basic lobster rolls. Additionally, the restaurant maintains strict policies, typical of many bars, which prohibit customers from bringing their own alcoholic beverages. I heard a rumor during dinner that my former job coach had previously violated this rule and may have been caught with his own drink. He happened to be there on my first visit, and it was quite surprising to see him removed because he disrupted the atmosphere as I greeted other diners. It was intimidating and unsettling to witness a staff member treating my job coach as a suspected rule-breaker. For once, I find myself siding with the restaurant in this matter. Their policy against customers bringing their own drinks makes sense, as it prevents potential issues with patrons who might overindulge. The idea that someone could sneak in their own alcoholic beverages without the bartenders being aware is concerning.
