The staff here are so wonderful and pleasant. My food is always ready pretty quick and they always greet me with a warm welcome. Thanks for what you do!
I find myself in Port Washington for work occasionally and was introduced to this gem of a place by a co-worker. The coffee is amazing! No chemical tastes you normally encounter with some coffee houses. The food is made fresh! It might be a smallselection but you can't beat the freshness or the price. The employees there are so nice and patient if you're a first timecostumer with questions
Great place for coffee, and their Fudge Oat Bar is killer. Upstairs seating area is fantastic as is their outdoor seating which is great for watching people come and go on the main drag in Port Washington. My favorite place to go to get some work done, orrelax with a book.
The only real coffee house in Port, the coffee is good. You order at the counter on the first floor, seating is upstairs. The clientele is more or less geriatric, not that there's anything wrong with that
While visiting Port Washington, we chose to grab a quick brunch and coffee at Java Dock Cafe. Their menu boasts a great variety of brewed coffee, soups, and sandwiches. The food was delicious and affordably priced. The staff were friendly and assisted us well in making our food selections. There's a charming seating area upstairs showcasing local artists' works.

I have only been here once as I am not from the area (anymore) and had a good experience. Everyone was very friendly and provided good service! I ordered a sweet potato and black bean wrap, and it was great. One of the best wraps I’ve ever tried. I also got one of their special lattes and enjoyed it as well. My mom and my brothers also liked their meals. I do not like potato chips but my family said they were very good. I did try a few of them. If I’m ever in the area again, I’d love to stop again! Highly recommend this café. It is also a cute and cozy place Vegetarian options: Multiple types of food choices available for vegetarian Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible
I used to love Java dock. In highschool a big group of us came here everyday and there were couches, It was down to earth, natural, cool. I came up to the outdoor window for the first time which is a great idea that wasn’t used before, with my dog. The employee was moving around opening fridges, there was no one in side so I waited to not be rude with the bell and obviously she could see me and finally I said something. I had 30 minutes and this was a rare treat because I had 40 dollars in my bank account for two weeks, my dog lives in a kennel in my parents garage every day 24 hours a day except for the time I take him out because I’ve almost died and been in bed the last year. I’m trying to get my life back together and give my dog what he deserves. I was friendly with the blonde haired girl in her mid twenties wearing a band t-shirt for the cure, told her when I saw them live asked her about music. Whatever. I ordered a medium cafe aulait with milk alternative and asked for whipped cream for my dog. She set down the drink and said here’s your drink went to the other counter and looked back with a dirty look. If what she really wanted to say is “this isn’t Starbucks” the proper answer would be, ‘I apologize I can’t do the whipped cream.’ She charged me over $7 dollars I think it was $7.15. Which is insane. The same drink at two other places is under $6 I waited a bit but the dirty look implied that’s a no, so then my bank account was down to $32.80 and I drank my Luke warm milk mixed with coffee, and my dog was getting a 15 minute walk for this 24 hours and no treat. I take my dog to McDonald’s after the dog park and I just order a hamburger for him and the other day they came out with a little cup of ice-cream for him we didn’t ask for it was so nice. I guess it takes life experience to know how hard life can be and how your interaction impacts others.
Love this place! The newer people need to slow down listen better when taking orders... but otherwise, the staff is super friendly everything is delicious! Sarah Angie are amazing!
Java Dock is definitely among the best coffee I've ever tasted. You won't find better scones or brunch options anywhere else; everything is made fresh and delicious.
Lovely people and great drinks and service! The atmosphere is rather cold I remember what it looked like before the remodel and was disappointed when I went recently with my friends to find out all the conversational seating and cute mis matched chairs were replaced and now everything is painted grey. (Also please note the shop not handicap accessible as the only seating is upstairs). I love the cafe's guitar and games available upstairs by the seating and the food and service are great! Dietary restrictions: Dairy free and gluten free options Parking: Public parking available next to building and street parking too

Awesome food, coffee, crew and atmosphere: the Java Dock is definitely one of Port's quality, local ingredients.
I live out of state, but I recently had the pleasure of visiting Java Dock Cafe on a friend's recommendation. Not only is the coffee fantastic, but I absolutely love the atmosphere! The staff is very friendly, and I will definitely be returning! I would even drive from my home in Florida just to visit this charming little cafe again. If you've been there, you know what I'm talking about. If you haven't, you’re really missing out! I highly recommend you give it a try—you won’t be disappointed!
