"My favorite spot for incredibly fresh, made-from-scratch baked goods, sandwiches, salads, and soups. They serve the best freshly squeezed coffee, and the staff is exceptionally friendly. It's a wonderful place to relax, savor the food, and take in the atmosphere. The building has been beautifully renovated, making it a unique gem for the city. I absolutely love The Daily Baking Company and Port Washington!".
What Mary Siders doesn't like about Daily Baking Company:
The breakfast sandwiches and pastries were absolutely delicious. We tried a coffee cake, brioche donut, morning bun, and a muffin. While the muffin was a little dry, the morning bun was fantastic and the coffee cake was delightful. They also made an excellent latte. However, the signage for the restaurant is somewhat unclear. It’s located next to the BBQ restaurant, and there’s a sign on the window. View all feedback.
Love this place!!!! I don't just work here, but I'm addicted to coffee! The donuts are brilliant and the bread is soooo good! The coffee cake this week is a thumb!!!! If you are in Port Washington, keep in and warm up with coffee and a pastry!
We enjoyed a coffee and donught breakfast at the daily baking company. It's situated in downtown Port Washington with limited parking on busy days, but we were lucky enough to only have a short walk. The staff was friendly and gave us time to decide on what baked goods we wanted. I chose a almond crossaint and my husband two sugar donughts. My husband ordered a regular coffee and I ordered a mocha. It was a little weird that they made us wait for the donughts because of the coffee. Would have been nice to start eating our donughts instead of the 5 minute delay. The donughts are freshly crafted on site and are delicious. The decor is open and spacious and seating along the windows allows for nice people watching. I would definetly come back.
This is a divine bakery and lunch spot, a must-visit if you're in or near Port Washington. The beer bread and banana rum cake are personal favorites, but all of the breads and pastries are fresh and delicious. It's also a beautiful space in a historic building, a great spot to sit and savor. Wish I lived closer!
This was the cutest place to eat for lunch! Marie-Anne even gave her lunch up because they had stopped serving it at 2:30. The ham and cheese sandwich, a pecan brownie, and French soda hit the spot. Definitely worth coming back! Her husband Daniel and daughter Charlotte were sweet as ever! Thank you!!!!
Great space! Amazing food. I live in LA amd this space is reasonable, lovely and delicious. Highly recommended!!
