I am giving this restaurant four stars primarily because they offer a dedicated vegan section on their menu, as well as other labeled vegan options throughout. While I found the food to be more average, pricing was a bit high for what I received. The server was very pleasant. Additionally, they offer coconut cream for vegan Thai iced teas. What Private doesn't like about Banana Leaf Thai Bistro:
The service was good but the food sucked so hard I'm still mad about it. Every dish was terrible band, overcooked, and just inedible. The server was nice and discounted one of our dishes but I won't be back and I can't recommend it to anyone. View all feedback.
Delicious food and very friendly staff. beautiful setup with a walkup window to order for takeout. loved the special curry mango ingwer curry with thunfish and garnel
I would give it 5 if the app allowed if for non-vegan restaurants! Food was excellent, and they had a complete vegan section on their menu. The staff was incredibly nice. You have a really nice dog-friendly terrace.
Very inspiring. I had vegan drunken mushrooms. Big portion, but the noodles were boiled over. Two mushrooms were good. Husband had Vegan Pad Cha Tofu. He asked for no salt, I think he got extra salt. Menu said 3 types of tofu, there was only 2nd small part. If there was no salt on request. There would have been no taste except the green beans there were many. We did not say spices, but usually there is a different taste than hot spices!! Vegan Crispy reels were typical, but the plum sauce was sweet Thai chili sauce watered. (I know because I love sweet Thai chili sauce and use it often. the place is quite dirty. The waitress was very pleasant and nice. Unfortunately, we will not go back. (We left the traditional tip. It felt like there were injuries. About expensive, not so good food. But it's not the waitress's fault, so we're gonna make room for it. With other Thai restaurants in the city, I think I must have met a bad day or they wouldn't still be in business, right?
I give this place four stars alone due to the fact that they have an explicitly vegan section of the menu, plus additional tagged elements throughout the rest of the menu e.g. starters with a “V”. The food itself was more 3 stars and a bit overpriced for the quality and portions, IMO. Server was very friendly. You also have to make coconut cream vegan Thai ice tea!
What's going on with the place, but food was very dirty. Red curry and masseuse both lubricated the same and that was very strange. It is a beautiful small place and the workers very pleasant. I'll try again before I cross it from my list.
