What User dislikes about Provisions:
I recently attempted to place an order over the phone and was informed that they didn't have any vegan options available. I inquired about the basil bureau and if they offered any marinara-type dishes, but I was told that the kitchen team responsible for making those adjustments had just finished their shifts and left. The food was ok but not worth the price. There was nothing special here, but I was just thankful to get something to eat. There are not a lot of options from here to Panama City. The prices are higher, and the portions are smaller.
Great restaurant! We ate there three times while we were in town. They do have outside seating for the dog. The service was a little slow at times however we had a great time. The Spinach and artichoke dip was my favorite!
Love how they have smaller portions! Great prices for this area
Menu says Betty spaghetti and chicken Alfredo are $21 but they are actually $24. They do have gluten free though so I’m happy about that.
We tried Provisions for the first time today after several visits to downtown. I don't know why we waited so long! It was terrific. Food was tasty, staff was friendly. Our server was Nick and he took great care of us. I had the half portion of the shrimp and penne carbonara (yum! and my date had the burger and fries. He said it was good, and reminded him more of a meatloaf sandwich but not as sweet. All in all a lovely little spot in downtown PSJ.
In Port St. Joe, a recent visit to a local restaurant yielded contrasting experiences. While some diners found the menu offerings flavorful and service exemplary—highlighting delicious dishes like bruschetta, Thai Angel, and Basil Bowtie—others expressed disappointment over the lack of vegan options. Those seeking plant-based meals were met with a lack of accommodations when kitchen staff were unavailable. Despite these concerns, many appreciated the warm and welcoming attitude of the servers, who were eager to assist. As the culinary scene evolves, this restaurant shows potential but may need to broaden its menu variety to cater to all diners.

We had an excellent experience at the restaurant, with fantastic service and no wait for our early dinner, despite having a party of nine on a Saturday. The buy-one-get-one-free offer on Sangria was a highlight; we opted for the white over the red, and it was very refreshing. Every dish we tried was delicious. However, the prices felt a bit steep for the portion sizes, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars.
What a great way to spend a rainy day at the beach. There's a patio with a view of the downtown shops. The staff is prompt and courteous. The restaurant has great ambience and is the perfect spot to take your sweetie. We started with the Georgia Girl salad which is amazing. Fresh greens, pecans and blue cheese. All topped with a sweet dressing. Highly recommended. I had the Angel Hair Ahi and my wife had the Chicken Picatta. Both dishes come with capers and roasted artichokes. We lucked our plates clean. Stop by this restaurant. It doesn't have to be rainy. The food and dining experience are top notch.
I had another wonderful first visit to a restaurant and it was an excellent choice! I tried the shrimp Sampi and absolutely loved it! My friends ordered tacos, someone else had the Thai curry, and a child in our group wanted a burger. Everyone was thrilled with their selections!
I love this restaurant. Great food, and even if short staff (like many places in these days) service still very good. Recommend her cream broil for dessert, the chicken piccata was good as the Tom Toms Thai Chicken Salad and the Saint Joe Saute. A big plus is able to order the petite size, which is usually more than enough to satisfy.
We gave this place a 4 star just because they did not serve any bread for starters. Most of the Italian place we've been, have serve some type of bread. Anyways, but overall the food we ordered were delicious! I ordered the Shrimp scampi and my husband ordered chicken picatta! Service was great and wait time was short, even if they had a lot of people there because of a party.

I recently attempted to place a phone order and was told that there are no vegan options available. I asked about the basil bowtie pasta and whether they had any marinara dishes, but I was informed that the kitchen manager, who could have made adjustments, had just left for the day.
I discovered this restaurant through another review and decided to try the three dishes mentioned: bruschetta, Thai Angel, and Basil Bowtie. We also ordered a house salad and topped it with our leftover bruschetta. Everything was incredibly tasty. The server was fantastic—helpful, friendly, and fun.
Finding a restaurant that caters to vegans in the Port St. Joe area can be challenging, so it was refreshing to discover a place willing to accommodate us. As soon as we mentioned our dietary preference to the waitress, she enthusiastically responded, “Oh, we totally got you.”

I just called to place an order and was told they don't have any vegan options. I inquired about the basil beer and whether they had any marinara-style dishes, but I was informed that the chef who could have made modifications had just left.

Me and my family went to eat here for dinner tonight. It was recommended to us by our Air BnB host. My initial thought was how cute and cozy the place looked. But once we sat down we noticed that a lot of the staff were hanging out in the kitchen. Themanaher seemed very snooty as he always walked around with his nose in the air. Our waiter was kind and seemed to be running theplace. We ordered the goat cheese marinera to start. The bread was not fresh. It was not even crispy. The butter had been onthe bread for a long time. The marinera tasted like it came from a jar. I ordered the basil basil pesto and it wasn't good. Thepesto tasted like it also came from a jar. The sundried tomatoes and pecans were just placed on the bottom. The brie was thesize of my pinky finger and placed in the center of the pasta like an afterthought. My brother in law ordered the Longshoreburger. It was a very dried patty with a very soggy bun. He said it tasted like they just mashed 3 meatballs together. I've hadfood in Romania that were so much better than this. Everything in the resturant seemed like it was old or came out of a jar.
Provisions is the best restaurant in Downtown Port St. Joe. It is a higher end italian restaurant with so many delicious items on the menu. the goat cheese and marinara fondue starter is to die for. for entrees we had the alfredo spaghetti, mussels, saintjoe sauté, and snapper piccata.
Fantastic lunch spot today with my mom. We each had a junior portion salad; hers was the Asian inspired salad with grilled chicken, mixed greens and a lovely peanut sauce. I had the Geogia Salad with pecans, blue cheese, grilled chicken andsubstituted the House Balsamic dressing. Although a smaller portion, it was just the right size for lunch. Comes with a greatprice as well. $9/$10. They honestly have the best, fresh brewed iced Tea in town! Daily lunch and drink specials are available.
Love this restaurant. Great food, and even when short staffed (like many places these days) service still very good. Recommend their Creme Brulee for dessert, the Chicken Piccata was good as was the Tom Tom's Thai Chicken Salad, and the Saint Joe Saute. One major plus is being able to order the petite size, which is usually more than enough to satisfy.
Another first visit and great choice!! I had shrimp scampi and loved it!! Friends had tacos another had the Thai dish and the kid wanted a burger. Everyone was happy with their choice!!

There aren’t many vegan options in the Port St. Joe area, so it’s fantastic to discover a place that welcomes us. When we informed the waitress that we were vegan, she enthusiastically responded, “Oh, we’ve got you covered completely!”

We visited this restaurant for lunch and discovered our new favorite pasta spot! It’s definitely worth the drive from Panama City Beach at least once a month for us.
I was seated quickly, and the server was friendly but seemed a bit forgetful. Our drinks were mistakenly served as Sprite instead of water, and the other sodas we tried were flat. I ordered the Kid’s burger...
I visited on a weekday around 3 PM for a late lunch to celebrate my longtime friend's extended birthday, and we were pleasantly surprised to find it was Happy Hour...
