La Tasqueta Del Mar - Port Sa Platja

On our hunt for great paella we went to 4.5+ rating places on google like narraro, casa de Roberto oder de pou and we were constantly disappointed. This one finally made a juicy nice Safran tasting rice at a reasonable price point. The taste was great, we just prefer rice over noodles. So we'd skip the noodle and go with the lobster soupy rice next time. It's worth a visit and was actually recommended by someone local!

I frequent this area a lot and had never been here before. The place is very good, excellent service (we were 3/4 tables) and the food was very good. I think that with the few customers that we were, they could have served me much sooner (more than 20 minutes for a €15 hamburger) and a glass of tinto de verano with two ice cubes (that's how little tinto de verano fit) for €5. The waitress has been super friendly and very attentive. We were 4 and despite taking a paella for 2 and squid that seemed like a small amount, we left very satisfied and full! It is a highly recommended place in addition to the fact that there is a good atmosphere and tranquility right on the beach!
