My son moved to Port Royal, SC from PA. I came in town to help him move in and wanted to treat him to the best seafood restaurant in the area so I started searching the internet and decided from the reviews I read that 11th Street Dockside was the best. Our meal was great the atmosphere was wonderful and the staff were very nice. View all feedback.
The Dockside in Beaufort is the best seafood I have ever had in my entire life and I've been to the north and I've been shrimp fishing in the Gulf of Mexico. It's worth an extra bit of a drive out there as opposed to eating at the one in Savannah. My mother and I shared a seafood platter for about $30 including drinks. We were both stuffed by the time we left and still had leftovers for lunch the next day.
My husband and I waited approximately one hour for a table. Rarely do I say it was worth the wait, but this was worth the wait. I don't remember seafood this good since I visited Seattle, WA. And, I am a native South Carolinian!!!

Had a double date here last weekend and it was a very pleasant supper We ordered the seafood pot and it was reasonability priced.
Really wished this place was open for lunch as well The Dockside reminds me of well worn shoes and not in a bad way.
