Fork and Cork - Port Pirie

A delightful meal enhanced by a charming staff at a beautiful restaurant. It's a great place to dine or enjoy a coffee outdoors in a cozy environment while watching the world go by.

I worked 20 years in the hospitality and can be very picky. but this place surpassed my expectations. great coffee, and we enjoyed a really delicious breakfast there! smoked salmon, chopped eggs, (real) hollandaise sauce! the largest portion perfect touch on...sour teigbrot. presentation brilliant, and price to please! this is a place I will definitely visit again when in port pirie. may recommend it to all.

We tried the Fork and Cork for the first time on a Friday night. I must say, the staff were friendly, but the food was very disappointing. We waited a very long time for our meals, which we wondered since the restaurant was not very...busy. We also requested that my daughter's starter come out at the same time with our main courses, but it arrived early. My wife's steak eventually came out, but was cold, and my pork was very rare, which I sent back. I told my wife that I could do a better job on the barbie with these dishes at home. When the port came back out, it was cooked properly, but my wife and daughter had now finished their meals. The staff, or even the chef, did not bother coming out to apologize for the food or to see if everything was all right. This is part of the service. Sadly, we have now been telling our friends (we are new locals in Port Pirie, not tourists passing through) about our experience. We left without getting dessert since we couldn't be bothered staying any longer. I do not recommend this restaurant.

I have now eaten here on 3 different occasions and every time I have walked away disappointed! The menu sounds fantastic with some great options but they don't seen to be executed to the standard they should be!! The only positives are the prices are...reasonable and the decor is great!! For what this place is meant to be I expected much more then I received!!! Sorry but I don't think ill be back

We dined in a group and opted for the set menu, so we knew what to expect and there were no surprises. However, we have also dined at this restaurant on other occasions and ordered from the a la carte menu, and have never been disappointed.
