Family Hotel Port Pirie

This is a great spot for a quick counter meal, good basic food at very reasonable prices. Have now eaten there a few times and have not been disappointed. Try it when next in Pirie

Although actually booked out for the evening the waitress found us a table provided we were finished by 7pm. This was fine with us as we only intended to eat and go anyway. After a short wait of about 20 minutes our meals - I had the beef pie and my husband had a parma arrived. Both were good pub food, generous helpings and were cooked.

Met the gracious hosts at the door to the restaurant and were shown to well set table and shown a menu with plenty to choose from.The service was attentive the food excellent and the home made sweets so good.The hotel is such aclean and welcome place to meet greet and or dine with friends

Tooke Family out for a Lunch and was Greeted as soon as got in Door , showed to seats and offered the Menu. A great Variety of food at a Fairly good price. Lunch arrived and it was delicious - even the Grandchildren enjoyed . Highly recommended and have been there a few times .

Up in Pirie for a couple of days visiting in laws and went out for lunch on the Adelaide Cup public holiday. As is the case for a lot of places these days, quite a few places were shut, but a sign on the back of a ute signalled that these people were willing to stay open so we ventured in. It is an old hotel and thankfully it hasn't been renovated within an inch of its life. Friendly greeting on entering set the tone. Ordered our lunch and a glass of wine and sat down in the restaurant which had a few other tables taking advantage. Decor was good as were the artworks hanging on the wall. Food was quite nice and good value for money.
