Mel's Diner - Port Orange

I've visited this restaurant several times, and the food is absolutely delicious. Plus, the staff is very friendly!

I love pancakes when I go to breakfast. That wasn't great. They were kind of thick and sponge and tasted like a box mix. However, their menu looks fantastic and I would definitely give them another try with something else on the menu. Service was great. They can say there were many regular guests because the servers knew their names. I hope to give them 5 stars next time.

War waitress was very nice I had cookies and Gravy Biscuits were hard, but the Gravy had good taste. French Toast was amazing! I will definitely be back!

If I could give this place zero stars, I absolutely would! Our waitress was awful; it took her 20 minutes to take our drink order, and she didn’t even bring us all the drinks we ordered. After finally taking our food order, she never returned to check on us. An hour later, we still hadn’t received our food. We ended up paying for our drinks and leaving, as my one-year-old was starving and we never got our meals. The waitress then had the nerve to be rude to us. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We meet here once a month with anywhere between 8 and 15 men. We love this time and our waitress Angie. A bunch of Christian men trying to do good. Thank you Angie and God Bless!!
