The food was delicious, the parking was spacious, and the atmosphere was fantastic! I want to give a special shout-out to Joel and Shivonne, who were incredibly friendly and efficient during both of my visits. The male bartender, whose name I didn’t catch, was also very friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a great experience! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Trotters:
Had a very bad experience here. The food and drinks was good however upon paying the bill i swiped my debit card and paid for my meal atleast 3x due to the waitress being inexperienced or just poor service. The manager that night was not helpful and was acting annoyed that i was querying what happened. All in all it took about 5 days of visiting the establishment to be reimbursed View all feedback.
Get the ribs, just trust me the ribs and everything else. fleshy, soft, delicate, juicy, great tasting ribs. the wings are good, but they began to cut the wings into 3 pieces and count each piece as wings. but really just the ribs. they also have a well-stocked bar with a great variety.
Went for date night. The food never disappoints at Trotters. The attendant was friendly and we had a great time.
Good staff, great ambiance, excellent food options.
Trotters ' main competitive advantage imo is that their food is always consistent when it comes to presentation, taste and affordability. Their dishes are well prepared and I 've yet to come across one that isn 't satisfying. Had the blackened Mahi Mahi but in a wrap instead of the sandwich with a side of Caeser salad which was delicious and satisfying. Giving this meal a 9/10. Definitely a great option if you 're avoiding oil and too much carbs. My friends and I tried a few appetisers. We had the Calamari which was fried crispy and tasted fresh. It came with a marina sauce and I give this dish a 8/10. We also had tortillas and guacamole which was too salty for my liking (6/10), the Cajun Shrimp the shrimp were jumbo, well seasoned and succulent (9/10) and the Wicked Wasabi Shrimp as shown in the picture below. This I give a 10/10 because between the crispy batter and the flavour of the sauce, this was a winning dish I love the fact that they have a Guilt Free menu where persons avoiding salt/sugar/carbs could order from. They have a few options well and the staff is open to ensuring any restrictions brought to their attention is treated with consideration. They will prepare whatever dishes they can without salt, something which few restaurants in Trinidad will accommodate. Service during peak hours isn 't great so expect to wait for your meals. But once they arrive, you won 't be disappointed. Their bar could be expanded to include more brands of alcohol but overall, the dining experience is very much recommended.
Food was fresh and what needed to have a crisp... had a crisp. Janet was our waitress and her vibe was so warm and welcoming. U can tell she was genuinely smiling under her mask. It was a pleasant atmosphere. Restaurant was clean and there was alot of parking available; both underground and a car park opposite on Maraval Rd! I'd definitely keep this place in the Top 10 of places to dine at!
