We recently discovered Golphis after trying a lot of take-out resteraunts (sic) in Port Moody. For great, old school Italian this place is fantastic. The caesar salad must be made in house, because I can taste the delicious anchovy. The pizza is great, and the service is super friendly. Last but not least, it is affordable! Compared to the other local places, their quality is better and prices are lower. If you're looking for a place to eat in, bring a crowd with you. The decor is nice and modern with lovely service, but because most of their business seems to be take-out/delivery, it can feel a bit cavernous.Give them a try and enjoy!

First and last time ever ordering from this restaurant. . Ordered at 4:45pm, were told it would be an hour. Pizza arrived at 6:45 after 3 phone calls to check on it. We were already unimpressed by the 2 hour wait and then we tried the pizza and were even more unimpressed. Not terrible but definitely not worth the 2 hour wait or the $65 cost. Will never order from this place again.

The 'Garlic Bread' was flavorless and dry, with no hint of garlic, the salad tasted like it came from a bag, and the steak and lobster was a severe disappointment.The wait was too long and the price too high for this painfully bland drivel. My steak (to be rare) came out medium and lacked flavor and substance.The lobster tasted like it was on the verge of expiry, having an overly sour and fishy taste, the side potato was hard and CLEARLY not cooked for the proper requisite amount of time one alots for a simple baked potato. My meal also came with mushrooms and onion rings. Those were fine.My friend got some veal and pasta dish and complained it was bland and flavorless. If you can't get a luscious and mouthwatering flavor out of veal you have no business in this industry.All in all, this whole outing was a banal and cringeworthy trainwreck of slow service, food so bad that I would feel bad GIVING it away, and a bill one would expect from a proper eatery.Do not even think of subjecting yourself to Golphi's unless you have nothing to live for.

The parking is limited and the exterior is a blast from the past, but I think more people should check out the interior. I have been eating Golphi's food regularly and have never been disappointed, starting in New Westminster in 1976 and in Port Moody since 1986. That's 40 years, and counting, and the only thing I don't like is the TVs!

Food is exceptional but a few issues. one waiter so your waiting slot of any kind of service i blame management for that not the waiter. another table got up an... read more Food is exceptional but a few issues. one waiter so your waiting slot of any kind of service i blame management for that not the waiter. another table got up and grabbed silverware and napkins from another table waiting too long. the menu they use is the same for take out and delivery. it says $7.00 off if you order a second pizza. so i asked about it. you only get that discount if your takeout/delivery if you are dining in you pay full price for both. i said you should maybe correct the menu he said they are making new menus but a month before i ate there there was an issue with the menu cant remember what it was but he made the same statement i say thats a lie. anyways i love the food but probably wont be going back because of the service and the lies in the menu. when u order something that is on a menu but then get corrected that the menu isn't correct more than once then oviously they dont care either

Th... read more I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at Golphis. The service was excellent, with a kind and accommodating server who attended to my requests promptly. The steak I ordered was cooked to perfection. The decor was pleasant, and the restaurant was clean and well-organized. Despite some discouraging reviews, I believe they have made significant improvements to their service and food in the past year. I would definitely return to Golphis.
