We came here on a Groupon deal and had the 3 course dinner with wine.Was really pleasantly surprised by the quality and presentation of the courses. Both the duck and salmon mains were excellent. The pavlova passion fruit dessert was beautifully presented and refreshingly yum. At the end of the meal, we were very pleased and concluded that we would definitely come again. View all feedback.
What Anne Hardy doesn't like about Rose Diner and Bar:
It's really not a review of the restaurant because we never went there. I would not recommend it after today's experience. They rang two hours before our confirmed reservation through Open Table to saying they weren't open on Mondays. However their website advertises 7 day trading...... Pretty poor really!!! We were lucky to get a reservation at Uncle in St Kilda instead and had a great meal. View all feedback.

We enjoyed lunch in a group of four. The food exceeded expectations - the pulled pork and hand cut chips were excellent, as was the wine list. Service was friendly, slow at times but very genuine. For a casual lunch, highly recommended
Rose Diner is the magical living room you wish you had. So, if you don't have that place, you'll love Rose. Stopped in with friends after a yoga retreat, and found the staff (Paul) and ambiance like a long time friend. Totally worthy of a return visit

The staff at Rose is very friendly and accommodating, and the food is absolutely delicious - the pulled pork burger, farmhouse breakfast, waffles, milkshakes, best mushroom burgers ever!!! Just can't stop, must must must visit!
