The food at this restaurant is delicious and fresh, and the environment is beautiful. However, the service is not proactive. The staff tends to stay behind the counter and doesn't check on the tables to refill drinks or ask if we need anything. What User doesn't like about Moshi Moshi Japanese Seafood:
I made a dinner reservation using this app, but when we arrived, they had no record of our booking. The staff was unhelpful and seemed clueless about the situation. We did not receive good service. View all feedback.
Food was great, service was quick, friendly and accommodating. The only con is that tables are too close together and if you are stuck next to a big group, like we were, it can spoil the enjoyment of eating out and conversation. Fortunately, we asked to move and our wish was granted.
Love eating at Moshi Moshi. Great food, pleasant atmosphere and very nice staff. Looking forward to a return visit ASAP.
Excellent and attentive service and feed me menu is great value!
Have eaten here several times but our last visit since the menu upgrade was so good! We had the feed me option which is such great value and so many items to choose from. Service was friendly and efficient and food came out quickly. Such beautiful fresh seafood we will now eat here more regularly!
My girlfriend and I dined at Moshi Moshi in Port Melbourne on Friday night. All of the food was delicious. Each course we had ordered came out soon after we finished the last serving. During the night our water glasses were filled regularly and the table service excellent. For dinner we had Soft Shell Crab Tempura, Miso soup, Sushi, Veggie Tempura and then Green Tea Ice Cream. And because it is Christmas and it is a time of “Why Not” we had Sake Junmai Gold (Kizakura 'Kyo No Tokuri ' Kinpaku) which has Gold Flakes floating in the bottle. 乾杯 Kanpai
