Being on holidays is not about eating at flash places, but eating quality food at an affordably price. We found the Port Macquarie Subway to be one of those. We selected the "1 foot Chicken Teriyaki with plenty of various filling ingredients and sweet chili sauce for dressing. This was more than ample. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Subway:
We purchased a Subway Italian Herbs & Cheese roll with Ham & all the salads several times in the last week while we were visiting Port MacQuarie. While the roll was tasty I had to ask the staff to spread the ingredients along the full length of the roll, I was not asking for more filling, just for the supplied filling to be evenly distributed along the bread so that we both could have the full taste of all the ingred... The lunch at this restaurant is always delicious! I placed an order through Menulog today and they left me a sweet note that brightened my morning. Thank you.
The staff was a bit slow and waited to be served while the staff chatted behind the counter.

The food is exactly what you would expect from a subway. Not bad quality and overall pleasant. My problem is the enforcement of COVID regulations. I've never been as crowded and pushed by customers as I have been twice in this business. I highly recommend having someone on Covid duty during high traffic times to ensure that there are not too many people in the store and everyone is properly distributed. I can also recommend a new panini press, as this was practically the only item that was used and causes a massive constipation. The short version that the food is good and the staff does their job well, but they are overwhelmed by the amount of customers and not enough capacity to deal with them.
They always give me grief about getting a sub melted instead of toasted
