My husband and I recently visited this cozy cafe on our way up the coast. Located near Maccas, KFC, and Subway (turn right at the roundabout into the new estate), this cafe provides a welcome alternative to the typical fast food options. It was a cool and windy day, and all seating is outside. That drags the rating down a notch. We found the least windy spot to enjoy our coffee and sandwich - both were fine, but without reasonable shelter, this cafe will be relying on takeaway business until the temperature rises. Staff were cheerful and friendly.
Stopped in for a coffee. The cafe is surprisingly relaxing and has a good vantage to watch the world. Sadly the coffee was below average. I would give the coffee 2/10. I will give it one more chance as I like the feel of the cafe. The location is just off the highway in a housing estate (being constructed). Should be a better option than its neighbour MacDonalds.

They offer fresh produce and menu items made on the premises. I enjoyed a delicious homemade Thai pumpkin soup, while my husband had a chicken and veg toasted foccacia. The soup was generously portioned with the perfect amount of spice, and the foccacia was filled with breast meat, spinach, tomato, and finished with a tasty chilli relish. We also enjoyed a real latte and homemade lemon tartlets. Overall, we left feeling refreshed and satisfied as we continued our journey up north.
This quaint little cafe is awesome! The staff & manager are always lovely and they make a mean bacon and egg roll. Highly recommend the brownies also :)
