KFC - Port Macquarie

Dont expect to get the right meal at this store, my names in their book 3 times as ive had to complain many many times about missing items, family meals are thrown in a box on top of each other, when you actually go to eat it, the crumbing falls off as its very soggy from being crammed in a tiny box and steamed, very dirty establishment, and staff are extremely rude, you can neverrrrrr get into the carpark as the drivethrough order box is on the wrong side so people in line block the entire entrance, just a horrible place with horrible food.

This KFC is a recently refurbished venue and one wonders why they bothered. Still sad and unflattering food. The service was OK and the youngsters behind the counter were pleasant and obliging, BUT the burger as displayed on their promotional literature left a lot to be desired. No way in the World did it resemble the magnificent poster displayed as we entered. Bun was miserable as was the e piece of sad chicken jammed between.Looked at the promotional poster again and considered taking it back to the service counter but relented as the kids behind the counter deserved better than that. After all they have little control as to what the Company dishes up.I have been, on and off over the years, enjoying the occasional KFC, but the time is fast approaching to steer clear of second rate (not as portrayed on the Company poster) portions that are seemingly now available. Where do we go from there...Maybe KFC executives in Australia should be closely examined by their American counterparts. After all why should we be served food that does not come up to the promised article as portrayed on their literature. Finally, as we have found with most fast food outlets, the premises promised the possibility of being a little tired and grubby and in particular the floor and garbage receptacle areas . A lunchtime rush does not forgive this condition as the public surely deserve better!

I never expect to find KFC in this area. I did road trip from sydney to brisbane and stayed a night in port macquire. Sometime you just need fast food and fried chicken is my fav.

I have observed the decline of this brand over the last 10 years,what used to be a thriving business is now a shadow of its former self. The colonel should be turning in his grave ,I do not normally eat at fast foods but did in the Past so feel I can make a valid comment. Time was important so I felt grabbing a quick chicken burger and coffee would suffice. It's amazing how wrong a photo and the printed word can be. A succulent freshly cooked crunchy chicken fillet with salad and mayo in a lovely bun,I feel bad about not taking a picture so you can be the judge,The staff were pleasant young people and as there were few diners the food was served almost immediately,as was the coffee. On opening the burger I felt deflated,the bun was flat soggy and dank,The chicken fillet cold and rubbery with 4 slimy pieces of lettuce,I felt I would console myself with the serve of chips and the coffee but not to be, the chips fell from the carton in a lump and the coffee was harsh. To add insult to injury I could not escape a giant image of the very meal I had ordered that had untucked me to this folly. Should I complain to the staff? I thought better of this as they were simply students trying to earn a dollar. Lesson learned I shall never darken KFC 's door again.

The staff were all so friendly and the food was so fresh, possibly the best KFC I've ever been to. Couldn't have asked for a better dining experience.
