We haven't been here for quite a while so I surprised my wife and daughter with a booking. It was only an overnight trip so a quickish meal was suitable. The beef curry, pulled pork burger and pork knuckle left us very well satisfied- especially as it was all for just over $60. Very well recommended .... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Finnians Irish tavern:
the staff was very friendly and courteous. the restaurant was clean and pleasant nice and fresh. beer was delicious. these Guinness-Pie and Irish stew aromas were tasteless. we were very disappointed View all feedback.
I went out for my cousins birthday and we sat out the front . I went in and ordered a drink for myself and my cousin . The bar tender poured an extra drink and charged me for it . I paid for it no problem . I didn't take the drink I just walked away .We went back outside and about 5 minutes later I went to order food at the bar . one of the bar staff told me I was refused service . At this point I'd had half a drink there . He told me I couldn't even order food and I had to leave in ten minutes . I told the guy I wasnt going to have another drink anyway I only wanted one while we were here and he still said no .My cousins were worse and had quite a few drinks more then me and they got food and could still have another round of drinks before they had to leave . I was pushed out at 8 minutes . The staff member was so rude . I probably won't be back to be honest . Whats worse is that I didn't get an explanation . I'm not underage . I'm 20 . I've also got my RSA and so did the majority of the party and none of them understood why I got kicked out over the rest . I've had to kick plenty of people out and had to cut people off but it was never as ridiculous as this . The only issue we had as a party was my cousins boyfriend dropped a glass . When this happened I was about 5metres away . The whole issue was handled wrong and the guy was so rude . Be careful of the bar staff

Went walking with my daughter today and ended up here for lunch thank god it was lovely!!! We arrived at 12pm and were lucky enough to get an outside booth on a beautiful sunny day, I had the steak off the specials board so make sure you look at that before you order off the menu as theirs some great meals on offer!!I took my husband back for dinner i booked an outside booth and my husband was worried being a tavern would be full of drunks smoking being a Friday night but to our delight it wasnt maybe as we had a 6.30pm reservation and there was no smoking aloud. We all enjoyed our meal my daughter had the same kids meal as lunch as shes so adventurous haha and it came with an icy pole, make sure you ask for colouring in:)I ordered two starters($12 each) of aracini balls and salt and pepper squid and was so full could not eat them all one would have been fine...ohh and friday nights $7 cocktails I had an Islander and it was really good!! Will return
A great selection of $10 lunches ($12.50 for Rump steak) with generous servings. The Fish and Chips, Rump Steak, Beef and Guinness Pie are my recommendations. Irish pub, so wash the meal down with a pint of Guinness! Nice atmosphere, with inside & outside seating.
Beef and gravy roll with parmesan cheese and chips absolutely awesome, best yet it was only $10 worth going for among oth er lunch specials
