This restaurant offers a diverse experience, leaving patrons with varied impressions. While some celebrate its vibrant atmosphere and highlight exceptional seafood, others lament the lackluster service and food temperatures, pointing out an uninspiring menu and inattentive staff. The eclectic decor, showcasing sports memorabilia, is appreciated, yet the ambiance can be off-putting, described as loud and uncomfortably cold. Despite a few standout dishes, like the lemon pepper wings and local seafood platters, frustrations over slow service and inconsistent food quality prompt some diners to seek alternatives nearby. Overall, it's a place that may please some but leaves others wanting.

Was Chris U at Doubleday a mag?
Ambiance loud (sports bar so what do you expect lol) temperature was freeeeeeeeeeeezing the night we were there. The lemon pepper wings were good. Just a regular ol sports bar and beer was cold. View all feedback.

What Marguerite A dislikes about Doubleday:
This restaurant is overrated. The dark and dingy atmosphere made me uncomfortable. I ordered a burger to go, so I didn't have to stay long. The employees seemed unhappy and unenthusiastic. Only one older gentleman tried to make small talk, which made me feel uneasy. I've heard that this place can get lively, but I guess alcohol can make any place seem fun. As expected, my food was barely warm when I finally got to ea... View all feedback.

Very cool place. Was excited to eat here. Even though it was a slow night and an abundance of hostesses none seemed to want to work and would rather sit on their phones. 20 minutes waiting and no service. Don't waste your time like I did, and keep on driving there's a lot better down the street

Came for Manuels Tacos and I wasn 't disappointed. Last had them in 2020, and been looking forward to having them again. Gor to the island and read they closed in April '21. To my suprise their re-opening was happening the 1st day of our SPI trip. The tortillas are huge and tasted so good!! Looking forward to future trips and hoping to visit many more times. From Austin, congrats on the Manuels reopening!!
