Twenty Six Port Hope

Amazing eating try the duck! kreatiw and delicious and probably one of the best places in port hope. our server streamed the overtime of the leaf game for us (then). the server were new and need training. couple of strange things, no olives / olive juice for martinis, the flare for smoked cocktails was not working/ disappeared and our friendly server made us a very good chance, but he could not really tell us what it was (I know, first problems of the world) restaurants must be ready for honeycomb customers who can get the personal well trained and comfortable with the menu and with supplies to buy the hand. twenty-two six are still a top 3 location.

Friendly place. Good energy. Small and intimate setting. Very popular in the community for fine dining.

Food presentation needs a little help, still it was delicious.

Nice place. The ambience was nice if the you were sitting in the right place. But I was sitting with a view of a plain and a bright lighted hallway right in front of me. The food was good my portion was small which was ok for me as I’m not a big eater but most people would have found it too small. My husbands steak was good but fries cold. Waitress was excellent. I would give it a second chance but ask for better seats. It was worth going just for the oysters they were delightful.

The restaurant was very accommodating of our large group and provided a beautiful space to celebrate a family birthday. The food was hit and miss, with the ribeye being the best and the steak fritz less so. While super friendly, the service was a little lacking but I understand there may have been a staff shortage. All in all I would definitely recommend this restaurant!
