Scallop pie is stunning and friendliness of staff adds to service from this little bakehouse. Main eating is outdoors on path which on cool winters day meant we had to sit on hi stools indoors but owner was lovely and friendly.Definitely be back to get some scallop pies to take back to Melbourne - and they also serve ethically grown and sourced coffee View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Village Bakehouse:
Staff were slow and had little product knowledge, did not know what ingredients were in their food. Food was below average, and they had run out of most items. Not recommended at all. View all feedback.
Actually had some really nice pies from this bakery, and we've been here on a few trips when in Port Fairy. Coffee is okay and there's a good selection of food. Would definitely recommend the pies!
We ordered ham and cheese croissant, vanilla slice and a scone. The toasted ham and cheese was tasty and fresh. Coffee is smooth. The scone was Really nice! I’m glad I have tried their scone. I’ll recommend people to try their scone. 2 coffee, 2 ham and cheese croissant, 1 vanilla slice and one scone is $27.31.
The coffee at this restaurant is incredible and their apple slice is absolutely delicious! The staff is extremely friendly. I visited 3-4 times over the weekend while I was visiting from Melbourne. I can't wait to come back for the hot cinnamon doughnuts!
I have enjoyed everything I have tried at this restaurant, but I only visit occasionally because we have a fantastic bakery in our town. The staff are also very friendly.
The best scallop pie I have ever had, the potato pie was delicious and exquisite. Thank you for a wonderful and effortless lunch in Port Fairy!
