The Victoria Hotel - PORT FAIRY

We had a delicious meal for dinner at this restaurant, along with a tasty bottle of Ha Ha wine from New Zealand. The food was reasonably priced and our waitress was very accommodating. However, I would recommend opting for bottled water instead of the local option.

The service at this restaurant was superb. The atmosphere was lovely, with the added charm of drinks by the open log fire. The food was fresh and delicious, with a wide selection on the menu. The restaurant was very clean as well.

Four of us went for tea, up near the back glass wall it was cold. Food was reasonably priced and to a very good standard, unfortunately the service was lacking a little. I had to go looking for our drinks order after 10 minutes. Also one of the waitresses talk too much and insert herself into the conversation more than once.

Great open fire, warm and inviting the same as the Staff. Had Oysters Kilpatrick to start and my wife had the home made bread and olive oil. both of us had fish, mine grilled and my wife's was battered. great tasting and the salad had some substance an a nice dressing.

Welcoming fire, friendly helpful service, great for families and fantastic variety of menu selections. Prices higher than expected but meals first class and delicious. Would definitely return.
