What Ashton Green likes about The Woodpecker Fresh Dining and Lounge:
This was our first visit to the Woodpecker, and we did not know what to expect. We had a wonderful evening! We chose to have dinner on the patio even though it was a little on the cool side. The staff made sure we were comfortable with lighting the heaters and offering us blankets. The food was all well prepared, beautifully presented and delicious. The savory grilled cheese sandwich was very hard. It was not on bread but a very hard bun (not on bread as expected). The menu did not indicate that. There was only a thin slice of cheese, chicken and apple served on a thick bun which had been grilled. There was too little filling to taste it.There wasn't enough filling for such a thick bun. The kettle chips that came the sandwich were greasy but otherwise tasteless.... View all feedback.
