Had a lovely dinner here with an American traveller I met in Port Douglas. I was surprised how good the food was. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Nice casual setting and good service. Worth a visit especially if you are staying in the Peppers Resort View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Sublime Restaurant:
Lovely staff and service, but the meals came out very quick, with entree coming out with main meal. It was unbelievably overpriced for what you get. Small meals and big price View all feedback.
It was a quiet mid week night, but service was good & a great position sitting by the pool.& really good value for money.

Buffet breakfast with good quality food. Exotic fruits that you won't find down south. Fresh juice. Machine coffee.
Sublime restaurant looks over the awesome lagoon pool at Peppers Beach Club Resort. The pool is lite up at night and creates a great ambiance for the restaurant. Having a front row set you can pretty much touch the water from your seat. The food was beautiful accompanied by really good service. My wife and I really enjoyed our restaurant experience and staying at this beautiful resort. A really "romantic" setting, great touch to our couple holiday.
We left dinner at Sublime sure we would not eat again for days after the amount of food we ate here. The food was very good but there was so much of it that I was ready to explode. We had the tasting plate for starters and our mistake was ordering it for 2 when there would have been enough for both of us if we had ordered it for 1. It had 3 dips and bread on it along with cold meats such as salami, chorizo and prosciutto there was also smoked salmon, feta, anchovies, pickled artichokes, mushrooms, grilled polenta and sundried tomatoes. I'm sure I've missed a few things but there was so much that we were full after the entree. The waiter did ask us if we were very hungry when we ordered it but I have always found that when waiters say the meal is quite large they never turn out to be, so it was our fault for doubting him. We both had the barramundi for mains and managed to eat most of it but could not even contemplate dessert. The waiter was very friendly and kept our water glasses full without being intrusive. I would definitely go again.
